    in 11 days we are going to wdw for the first time staying at the GF is it best to do the on-line checkin? I heard that sometimes they offer upgrades at the beginning of march if we do online check in would that affect the upgrade? Thank you in advance

    Hi Tiffany,

    I just got back from a WDW vacation and while I was checking in at the on-line check in desk I saw the woman next  to me get upgraded.  I was very happy for her (and a little jealous).  It looked as if she was chosen for the upgrade before she arrived.  She gave her name and the castmember working at the front desk typed it in and gave her the good news.  Her packet was all ready for her with her room keys, park maps, etc.  

    I don't think there is a better time of year for upgrades, but I wish you the best of luck.  I travel to WDW often, I have never gotten an upgrade but have witnessed other people getting upgraded twice.  It does happen.
