Only 75 days from WDW! Arriving a day early and plan to explore Downtown Disney that evening. Should we make dinner res there or at a resort that night? And where? Me, DH, 2 DDs (8&6) Thanks!

    Hi Jessica,

I am loving Downtown Disney these days. I spent many hours exploring on my last trip and found my two kids (8 & 6 - like yours!) plenty entertained while we strolled. I think either decision would work out for you, but spend some time viewing the menus. Disneyworld.com offers menus online, but I'm a big fan of the quick and easy format of menus at the independent site allears.net. You can find relatively current menu pricing across all Walt Disney World property, including Downtown Disney. I'm betting your mouseketeers would love restaurants like T-Rex with larger than life animatronic dinosaurs or Raglan Road with live Irish music and dancing to entertain the entire family. Also be sure to check out Downtown Disney's newest addition for family fun and dining, Splitsville Luxury Lanes.

I always recommend booking Advanced Dining Reservations ahead of time online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE, 407-939-3463.

I hope my answer was helpful to you, Jessica. Be sure to visit us again with additional planning questions. We're delighted to help!

    Best wishes,
