Hi Dixie,
Thank you for visiting us here at planDisney, we are happy to help you plan your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!
You will be happy to know that during such unprecedented times, the Walt Disney World Resort has implemented a generous
Book With Confidence policy regarding cancellations of Disney Resort hotel reservations and Disney Vacation Packages, which include Disney Resort hotel reservations and theme park tickets. If you find that your plans change, any Disney-imposed cancellation fees will be waived up until the day of check-in through April 30, 2021. If you booked your vacation with a secondary source, you should check with them regarding any possible cancellation fees they may have.
I also have good news if you purchased theme park tickets separately, and not as part of a vacation package. The value of your tickets may be applied towards tickets for a future date as long as the tickets are wholly unused. You will simply pay the difference between the price of tickets.
Dixie it looks like you will be visiting just after the New Year and I want to share with you some exciting news!
The Park Hopper Option Returns to Walt Disney World Resort in January 2021! The way it will work is that Guests will make
Disney Park Pass Reservation for the first park they wish to visit for the day. Guests will then visit the first theme park before being allowed to "hop" on over to another park. Currently Guests may hop to another park at 2 p.m. each day and a second Disney Park Pass Reservation is not needed for the second park. However please be sure to check for operational updates before your vacation, as some of the procedures may change by then.
Have a Magical vacation and be sure to come back and visit us again with all of your vacation planning questions!
