44 days for us! I wanted to see if anyone knew of any big events happening the week before Thanksgiving this year. We've been down there before at this time when crowds are low but it has been very hard to get resort dining and fast passes this year. Thanks!

    Hi Megan:

My family is looking forward to enjoying Disney World again during the week of Thanksgiving.  Disney World tends to be crowded when schools are out of session, and tends to be less crowded when schools are in session.  Other than Thanksgiving Holiday, I'm not aware of any other events that would make the parks more crowded during the week in question.  If you are traveling the week of Thanksgiving, you'll likely find that the parks will get more an more crowded as the week goes on, thanks to many families choosing to spend the Thanksgiving Holiday at Disney World.  If you are traveling the week before Thanksgiving week, then I'm also at a loss to explain why you are finding dining and FastPass+ to be difficult to secure.  While Disney World tends to attract crowds all year long, the week before the week of Thanksgiving doesn't tend to be a high-level crowded week.

Keep trying to secure your reservations and enjoy the visit.
