Hi, 13 days untill vacation!!! have a 5 yr boy abd 1 yr girl this is the whole familys first time at WDW. are there any recommendations of things to do or events to see? We will be there 3/3-3/7! also about the hidden mickey book.. worth it? Thank you

    Shena,

Your magical vacation is almost here!  I hope you are ready for the pixie dust and magic to appear at every turn! My biggest tip to family and friends is to have 3 must-do activities or attractions that your kids want to do or see and get to those first so those have priority and you don't risk missing them.

Be sure to see at least one show or parade. These are great ways to relax and have a snack Your kids will love the entertainment and you can rest your legs from all the walking. If your son and daughter are into the Disney Junior shows, don't miss the Disney Junior-Live on Stage show at Disney's Hollywood Studios. This past weekend, a new show debuted with the characters from Doc McStuffins and Sofia the First!

In between rides, there are fun play areas where the kids can run around and get their energy out like the brand new Casey Jr Splash 'n' Soak Station in Storybook Circus at Magic Kingdom or The Boneyard at Animal Kingdom. There are Kidcot Fun Stops in Epcot where the kids can collect stamps and do crafts in the different stations in World Showcase!

I definitely think the Hidden Mickey book is worth it. It is one of my kids' favorite things to do while waiting in lines for the attractions or just walking around the parks! Great fun is had by all.

Enjoy all the magic and wonder in their eyes. Those memories will be the best souvenirs from your trip!
