Only 18 more days until our WDW vacation! We will be staying at Port Orleans-FQ. We are thinking about taking a bus frm there to Epcot, then riding the Monorail to MK. Is the Monorail station inside or outside Epcot theme park? Thank you!

    Hi, Kellie!

The monorail station is outside the gates of Epcot, so you do not need to enter the park before hopping on the monorail to head to the Magic Kingdom.

I am guessing you want to do the bus-monorail route to experience the monorail.  I just want to make sure you know how much extra time that will take.   To get to the Magic Kingdom for French Quarter on a bus will take about 10 - 12 minutes once you are on the bus (a few extra minutes if the bus stops at Riverside before heading to Magic Kingdom).

To go your planned route:  bus to Epcot, monorail to Transportation and Ticket Center, switch to Express Monorail line to Magic Kingdom.  This route will take about 1.5 hours with wait times for your bus and monorails.

So can you do it?  Sure, but make sure you are ready for a lot of travel time!   Have fun deciding on your travel routes.
