13 days until WDW! We keep reading about limited shade at Blizzard Beach. Will there be a shady place for our 5 month old and gramma to sit while we hit the attractions with our 4 yr old? Can you recommend a spot? Thanks - love the forum!

I love to be outside but I must sit in the shade when it is hot outside. So, I've had lots of experience seeking out shady spots.

At Blizzard Beach, even on a crowded June morning, I was able to secure shady seating. The first spot we found was near the Melt Away Bay pool. You'll find more options to the far side of Melt Away Bay.

After some time bobbing in the waves, we moved over to the Ski Patrol Training Camp. Even here, we were able to secure chairs in shade (facing the lockers, we were seated on the left side of the building housing rest rooms).

Definitely arrive early and then you'll have more options for Gramma and the baby!
