Wilderness Lodge Resort Pool

    Hello - With only 30 days until our trip to Walt Disney World there are still a few details. We are staying for two weeks at the Wilderness Lodge and am wondering if they provide irons or steamers, and if they other non-standard can be obtained. Thank you!

    Welcome back to planDisney –– I really appreciate you stopping by with another question as you get ready for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort.  Now that you've officially hit that 1-month mark for your vacation countdown, I bet the excitement is really starting to set in!  Before you know it, you'll be strolling down Main Street, U.S.A., and taking in all the magic of Spooky Season at The Most Magical Place on Earth.  But you know what's even better?  It sounds like you won't be turning into a pumpkin at the stroke of midnight on November 1st because you'll also get to experience all the splendor of the holiday season as Walt Disney World Resort begins to transform overnight!  So, I hope you're feeling festive, Scot –– I have a feeling that plenty of holiday pixie dust is headed your way!

    I love the laid-back, earthy vibe of Disney's Wildness Lodge, so I'm excited to hear that you'll have plenty of time to explore this beautiful Resort during your upcoming visit. And don't worry, you'll be able to fit right in with the Dapper Dans (or even with The Cadaver Dans, if you prefer) during your stay –– you'll find both an iron and ironing board in the room of your Resort. Also, if you need to tackle a few loads of laundry during your two-week adventure, 24-hour self-service laundry is available just beyond Roaring Fork, or you can contact Housekeeping directly from your room if you prefer valet laundry or dry cleaning services. 

    And if you're looking for a little extra relaxation during your time at Disney's Wilderness Lodge (or you just need a place to rest those tired toes after a long park day), be sure to seek out the rocking chairs that you'll find located around the Resort.  Whether you're enjoying a seat by the fire in the main lobby or taking a time out by the bubbling spring, nothing makes me feel like I'm truly on vacation quite like spending a few minutes rocking my cares away.  Be sure to check them out and your favorite spot during your visit!
