    14 days until our trip to DW!!! We are staying at POR and requested trundle bed for my 2 year old. Will we get the trundle bed for sure or should I bring air mattress just in case?

    Our family enjoyed Port Orleans: Riverside not too long ago, along with a trundle bed room!

    Keep in mind that the term "trundle" is used pretty loosely, in my opinion.  It's more like a deluxe school mat on a platform--certainly not a twin mattress on rollers that may come to mind if you have one at home!  If you think your child would miss the comforts of home, the air mattress might be a good alternative, and I don't know that it would be prohibited.

    The trundle rooms are located in the Alligator Bayou section.  My understanding is that they aren't guaranteed unless you have a party of 5--without the trundle, the larger party wouldn't meet fire code!You don't mention how many are in your party, but if you've got less than 5, keep in mind that Disney  does try to accommodate as many visitors as possible.
