Welcome to planDisney, Christina!
How exciting that you have an upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort trip. I'm sure you have lots of questions. Well, you have a friend in me. This is why
planDisney exists. We want to help fellow Guests plan their next Disney adventure. So you've come to the right place, Christina.
Let me explain the difference between a
standard theme park ticket and the Park Hopper Option. A standard ticket allows you to visit one theme park per day. Therefore, if you purchase a two-day standard ticket, you'll be able to visit two theme parks during your visit, one per day. Also, I should mention that Guests are required to make theme park reservations for the parks they plan on visiting.
You can upgrade your standard ticket to include the
Park Hopper Option. This allows you to visit more than one theme park on the same day. Guests must still make a theme park reservation for the park they'd like to visit first. However, after 2:00 PM, they are welcome to visit another theme park of their choice without a theme park reservation. In fact, they can visit multiple theme parks after 2:00 PM if they wish.
You can purchase your
tickets and make your
theme park reservations through the Walt Disney World website.
When it comes to the best day of the week to visit, I would say weekdays are less crowded than weekends. Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays are probably best. However, in the middle of summer, it tends to be busy every day.
I hope that's helpful, Christina. Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney.
Mike
