198 days until our Thanksgiving trip with 4 adults + DS 12 & DD 12. It's time to plan dining reservations. If on Thanksgiving day MK is at capacity & we have reservations @ Liberty Tree, will we be let in? Should I make back-up reservations @ Artis

Under two hundred days?  Wooohoooo!  That's reason to celebrate.  I wish I could give you good news with regards to your question, but unfortunately, I can't.  Should the park close for capacity, your reservation at Liberty Tree Tavern won't do you a hill of beans worth of good.  The only way to ensure you can enjoy dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern that night is to arrive early and be one of the lucky ones to gain admittance to the park before it closes for capacity.  If you don't think it's feasible for your family to stay all day, then I would definitely recommend making a reservation elsewhere.  Enjoy your turkey day at Disney!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
