Hi Moms! 37 days until our split stay BWV/BLT! I know Disney will move my bags, but is there any benefit to going to BLT early to check in and then going to a park, or can I wait until after we do the park to go to BLT at all? Thanks!

    Hi there Emily,

37 Days!?  Wow!  Your arrival date is rapidly approaching so I'll bet you're getting SUPER excited, as you should be!

As someone who really enjoys splitting my WDW stay between multiple resorts, I am more than happy to share my experience!  When you're ready to check-out of Boardwalk Villas, simply call down to Bell Services.  They will transport all of your luggage over to Bay Lake Tower and your belongings should be available there by early afternoon.

There is no need to go over to BLT until you're ready to check-in, so you can feel free to head out and enjoy the parks, knowing that your bags will be waiting at BLT Bell Services when you finally arrive!

On my last visit, I split my stay between Port Orleans Riverside and Animal Kingdom Lodge.  Knowing that my AKL room would not likely be ready until 3 PM, I sent my bags over when I checked out of POR, and didn't show up at AKL until later that day!  My bags were safe and sound...behind lock and key in the Bell Services luggage room!

    Best Wishes,
