Just 13 days until my kids' Disney dreams come true! We've made several dining reservations for our trip and some include 1st visit celebrations. Do these vary per restaurant or park, or is it redundant to have more than one 1st visit acknowledgement?

    Hi there, Virginia!

One thing Disney does absolutely right is to acknowledge the importance of each Guest and recognize how special every celebration can be.

Every restaurant is different in theme and in "flavor," so every First Visit celebration is going to have its own special feel. And besides, how incredible will it be to have your visit be the subject of a party?

For your own peace of mind, you might want to call (407) WDW-DINE, indicate that you have chosen the "First Visit" celebration option, and confirm that you will not incur any surprise charges, As I understand it. Disney just loves to treat its Guests like royalty, but yes, there can sometimes be "goofs" in communication.

First-timers can often experience extra Disney magic throughout the stay. Please make sure to pick up a complimentary First Visit button a any Guest Relations facility or at check-in at your Resort, and do encourage the members of your traveling party to wear the buttons throughout your time in the World.

    Have an amazing time!

    See you later, celebrator,
