3 days until Disneyworld, yea!! In checking weather it looks like there will be quite a bit of rain (I know it is Florida) but my question is more aimed at fast pass. If our ride is closed during rain, do we lose our fast pass time?

Hi there, Margaret! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop back by and allowing us to help you plan another trip to Walt Disney World Resort!

The unpredictable weather is certainly a concern regardless of when you choose to visit Walt Disney World Resort! In fact, during my own most recent vacation, there was an entire day filled with thunderstorms that resulted in some last minute changes to our plans. Fortunately, Walt Disney World Resort is quite understanding of severe weather and is generally quite helpful during these circumstances!

If you have reserved a FastPass+ experience and the attraction is closed due to weather, you will actually receive a return FastPass+ that is good for any attraction inside the park you are visiting. You will be able to see your replacement FastPass+ on your My Disney Experience account if this event occurs. So, you can use this replacement FastPass+ to experience the attraction that you initially reserved or another one inside of the park. You will have to make sure you use your replacement FastPass+ before the end of the day, though!

Hopefully, this will not be a concern during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! If you and your family do encounter severe weather, though, you will now know what to do in this situation!

Have fun continuing to plan for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort!
