Hi! 276 days until our Disneymoon. Were using the DDP & some places like Gaston's & Kusafiri say they're not DDP eligible, but we have friends who say they've used snack credits at these places this year? Any tips on planning snacks?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Chelsea! I also celebrated my honeymoon at Walt Disney World Resort, so I know first-hand just how magical it can be. Make sure you get yourself some celebration buttons at the Front Desk of your Walt Disney World Resort hotel so everyone can know that you're celebrating such a special occasion.

When a Quick-Service dining location is listed in My Disney Experience as not accepting Disney Dining Plans, there are a few reasons why that might be the case, but in the case of Gaston's Tavern and Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery, it's because they typically don't accept the Dining Plan for Quick-Service meals, but the snacks on the menu are generally available for a Snack credit. I have personally used Snack credits for the Warm Cinnamon Roll and LeFou's Brew at Gaston's Tavern, so you can add those to your list of snacks to try when you're there. If the menu item has the purple and white Disney Dining Plan logo next to it, then you can redeem a Snack credit for it!

I have a few tips for planning for your snacks and my first piece of advice is exactly that: make a plan. Browse some restaurant menus and think about some of the delicious snacks you want to try! That way, you can make sure you use all of your Dining Plan credits and try some iconic Disney snacks. You're also arriving at a great time of year for food because the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays is usually happening and you can try a lot of great holiday dishes from around the world, most of them for a Snack credit!

    Have a magical day, Chelsea!
