    Hi! 178 days until we get to AKL! So excited! Tried making ADR for TRex, but it was fully booked. Any suggestions for a fun dinner experience on a night we don't have park admissions? Going with a 4yo princess and a 2yo pirate. Thanks so much!

    Hi Christina!

    Yay! Our last trip was in September and my princess was 4 and my pirate 2! So, hopefully I can help you!

    First of all--keep calling  Disney reservations! Call every day if you want to! You never know when someone will cancel or change their reservation around. I was trying to get the breakfast at 1900 Park Fare and finally got it the DAY BEFORE! Every time we were sitting on a bus in between hotel and park, I'd get on the phone again!

    My guess is in 178 days? You'll get the reservation!

    But if not, here are a few non-park restaurants my kids loved (and why):

    1. Hoop Dee Doo at Fort Wilderness {it's an interactive dinner show that is hilarious!}
    2. Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Lodge {so the dining wasn't that cool, but there are ANIMALS outside the window! just hanging out at the AKL is an adventure!}
    3. Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge {they have stick-horse races & love to rile up their guests!}
    4. 1900 Park Fare at Grand Floridian {Mary Poppins, Mad Hatter and Alice!}

    And a few we still need to go to:
    1. Chef Mickey's {everyone says this is THE best character meal!}
    2. Ohana at the Polynesian {there's hula hoops & coconut races!}
    3. Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney

    Whatever you choose it will be magical! Let me know if you have any more questions--I'd love to chat!
