Hi Yasmine!
Welcome to planDisney, thanks for sending your question! As we get ready for seasons to change from summer fun to fall frights we'll also be seeing some changes to entertainment schedules at the Disneyland Resort. I'm not as all-knowing as the clairvoyant Madame Leota (my favorite resident of the Haunted Mansion) but I'll do my best to share what I know!
The
"Magic Happens" Parade is one of my all-time favorites! I was so excited to see it return to Disneyland Park this year. However, I see that you'll be visiting during
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort and the entertainment schedule doesn't tell us yet if the "Magic Happens" Parade will be running during your visit just yet. Entertainment is always subject to change, so it's worth keeping an eye on the schedule to see if that changes, but it's possible that the parade will not be available during the spooky season. I would expect to see the entertainment calendar start filling up in the next two or three weeks, so keep an eye on it!
Dining packages do tend to book up early, so it's not always possible to grab a reservation. Sometimes we pick a spot to watch the parade fairly early so we can sit on a curb, then send someone from our party to grab a snack or meal for us. Mobile ordering on the Disneyland Mobile App makes it really easy to choose what you want, place your order, and send someone to pick it up while you wait in your parade spot!
There is a lot of fun coming to the resort for the spooky season! Check out the
Disney Parks Blog for a fun peek at what's on the way...I'm especially excited for Haunted Mansion Holiday, I always love seeing the
gingerbread house that gets built in the ballroom every year! We can definitely count on some special treats around the parks, too.
Yasmine, I'm sorry I don't have more news about the entertainment schedule during your visit. Keep watching and I'll send some extra pixie dust your way! I hope you have a wonderful visit to the parks!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
