20 days tilll our first family trip to WDW, ( Kids 4,6). We are staying at POR. Is it essential that I book all my dining reserv. ahead of time? I have 3 meals booked, but want to be flexible. We have the DLX dining. How long will waits be to sit down?

    Hello Tracy!

WOO HOO!!!  Your Walt Disney World Vacation is almost HERE!  You all are going to have so much FUN!  My family stayed at Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside last week for the first time, and we LOVED it!

Based on my experience, I would definitely book your Disney Dining Reservations in advance.  I have five kids (ages 12 to 2), and it is REALLY hard to do a walk up reservation when your kids are hungry.  In fact, I believe having Disney Dining Reservations already done actually GIVES your family the flexibility to enjoy the Disney Parks without worrying about when and where your family will eat each day.  I especially recommend making Disney Dining Reservations with the Deluxe Dining Plan.  You most definitely want to take advantage of the variety of restaurants and incredible food that will be available to you!  You can either make your Disney Dining Reservations online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

If you have other questions, please let me know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
