7 DAYS TILL DISNEY!!! We have the QS meal plan which we had when we visited 2 years ago. Last time we got sort of tired of burgers, pizza, salads, etc. Do you have any suggestions for yummy, "different", QS eateries at the parks?

    Hi Suzanne!

    7 days!!!! Woo-hoo!

I LOVE talking about dining at Walt Disney World and I never visit without a Dining Plan. So many great options to choose from - and I try to hit as many new ones each visit as possible! Here are a few of my favourite "different" or hidden places to grab a quick service meal or DDP Snack Credit treat around the parks.

In Magic Kingdom, I LOVE Tortuga Tavern. There's a fantastic 'bar' where you load up your tortilla bowl or burrito with all the fixings. It's almost 'hidden' over in the Adventureland area near Pirates of the Caribbean.

Over at Epcot, aside from eating around the world at the MANY international Quick Service locations (some favourites include a 'Kaki Gori' shaved ice treat using a snack credit at Japan's Kabuki Cafe cart or a fish & chips lunch at Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the United Kingdom) - I really enjoy the numerous options at any time of day offered at Sunshine Seasons in the lower level of The Land Pavilion. The Roasted Beets & Goat Cheese salad is dee-lish!

Hollywood Studios is my "treat mecca." Writer's Stop has the most delectable array of DDP snack credit treats around! Try the carrot cake cookie - it could practically replace a meal!

In Animal Kingdom, the Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe offers some really great & substantial, non-typical quick service meals.

I hope that some of these are "new" to you and you enjoy eating you way around the World!

Wishing you a Magical Walt Disney World vacation Suzanne!
