23 days til our first family vacation to DW!!! We are staying at CSR and have a character breakfast at 7:20am at Chef Mickey's. Will the buses be running early enough to get us to our reservation on time? Also what is best form of transp between hotels?

Hi Rendie! Buses start running approximately 60-90 minutes prior to park opening.  They should be operating early enough to get you to breakfast but you may want to confirm with your resort concierge the day before your early morning breakfast.  You can board the bus to Magic Kingdom and then monorail or walk over to the Contemporary (there is a walking path that will take you 10 minutes or so to walk).  When boarding the bus, you'll want to mention to the driver that you are having breakfast at the Contemporary and if his/her schedule permits, you may get lucky enough to have a drop off right at the Contemporary!

The other option you have is to take a taxi.  You can arrange a taxi with Bell Services.  If you find you are running tight on time, this might be a better option.

As far as transportation between hotels, you will need to use a park or Downtown Disney as a "hub."  For example, if you want to travel to the Polynesian, you could take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and monorail over to the Poly.  Or, you can travel to any other theme park/Downtown Disney and transfer to a bus headed to the Magic Kingdom.
