    In 16 days we will be staying in at the Fort Wilderness Villas. What view can we expect to see from our 2-bedroom suite?

    Hi Maggie,

    I am so excited for you!  The two bedroom villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge are the most amazing accommodations.  As a Disney Vacation Club member with the Villas at Wilderness Lodge (VWL) as my home resort, I have stayed there on numerous occasions.  You will be amazed at the spaciousness and amenities in these rooms.  It is so convenient to have a full kitchen and private laundry facilities at your disposal while on vacation at Walt Disney World. 

    All of the villas at this resort have a "woods" view, as all of VWL is surrounded by tall, beautiful trees.  One side of the building faces the front of the resort and the other faces Bay Lake but you will find a wooded view on all sides. 

    Let me tell you about my favorite room location at this resort.  If you ask for a two-bedroom villa on a high floor with a pool view, you might be assigned a room with a lovely view of Bay Lake.  Although there will be some tall trees between your room and Bay Lake, you'll still be able to see the sunrise in the morning and the Electrical Water Pageant at night from your private balcony.  This is a spectacular room location.  If the thought of this view appeals to you, call your travel agent or the Disney travel office to attach this room request (high floor & pool view) to your reservation.  While room requests are never guaranteed, the Cast Member who assigns rooms will make every attempt to meet your request.
