Hi there, Melissa!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with a question about one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort topics,
Fantasmic! I actually just returned home from a magical Spring Break-ation in which I marveled at the powers of Mickey's imagination three times over the span of five days. There's just something about the unbridled optimism and joy fostered by the show that never ceases to amaze me (and bring happy tears to my eyes).
I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble securing a reservation for the
Fantasmic! Dining Package. The guaranteed seating offered with the package makes it quite popular with Guests, and now that it is included in the
Disney Dining Plan, reservations can be hard to come by. I just did a quick search for the 60-day window and am seeing availability, so I suggest giving it another try to see if anything has changed since you last checked.
If you are still unable to secure your desired reservation, all hope is not lost, Melissa! In my experience, reservations often become available as people alter their plans. Keep checking back, especially in the days before you depart. I've even been able to snag a same-day reservation now that the penalty-free cancellation window has been extended.
If you are not able to secure reserved seating for the show, you can still enjoy Fantasmic! via a standby queue. Although your dates currently have only one daily performance listed on the
Entertainment Calendar, additional showtimes are routinely added in the summer months. If this happens, you'll find that the second showing typically has much lower crowds allowing standby Guests to enjoy the performance without the stress of securing a seat that typically accompanies the first showtime.
I hope this was helpful, Melissa, and reassures you that Mickey always does his best to give as many of his pals as possible a spectacular view of the powers his imagination holds. If you have any additional questions as your vacation approaches, don't hesitate to
stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
See ya real soon!
