45 days!! We have a split DVC stay 5 nights AKL Kidani and 4 nights Beach Club villa studios. Any recommendations for rooms/sections to request for each? Proximity to pool and/or bus is a plus! Thanks!

    Hi Rebecca,

You are staying at great resorts! Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village is beautiful and has the opportunity to see exotic animals at nearly every turn. Disney's Beach Club Villas is quaint, and the proximity to Epcot is just wonderful.

At Kidani Village, if you want to be closest to the bus, request rooms 7212 - 7227, 7312 - 7327, 7412 - 7427, or 7512 - 7527. To be closest to Samawati Spring Pool, those rooms would be 7624 - 7641, 7724 - 7741, 7824 - 7841, or 7925 - 7941. These two requests are a little separate from each other; however, if you wanted to cover both, you could ask for a room close to the lobby, as the lobby is more or less in between the pool and the bus stop.  You can find a map with room locations for Kidani Village by visiting the unofficial site allears.net. Once there, choose "accommodations," go to the fact sheet for Kidani Village, and click on the link for the map.

A request for your stay at Disney's Beach Club Villas might be a little trickier. The Beach Club Villas do have Dunes Cove pool, which is a quiet pool. Stormalong Bay, the main pool for Disney's Beach Club, is located at the traditional resort area of the pool, as is the bus stop. Room numbers that keep you closer to the traditional resort side and are close to Dunes Cove Pool are 101 - 138, 201 - 238, 301 - 338, 401 - 438, and 516 - 538. You can find a map of room locations at Disney's Beach Club Villas by visiting the unofficial site parkinfo2go.com and clicking on Beach Club Villas.

Please do know that when you make a room request, Disney will do their best to honor it, but it is not a guarantee. Also you might consider instead of asking for a specific room that you explain your request - asking for a room close to the bus stop and/or pool. This will give Disney greater flexibility in assigning your villa. I hope that this information helps, Rebecca!  Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
