Hi Jessi! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! I hope you are excited about your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. If you have limited days in the parks, it's always hard to choose which one to visit during your stay. For me, a trip to Walt Disney World is not complete without stepping onto Main Street, U.S.A. and getting a view of Cinderella Castle. The
Magic Kingdom has so many of the classic rides and if you want to see Mickey Mouse himself, he is meeting at the Town Square Theater decked out in his EARidescent 50th Celebration outfit!
As you are aware, to visit two theme parks on the same day requires you to have the
Park Hopper Option added to your park tickets. When purchasing multi-day tickets, you will be required to add on the Park Hopper for the entire length of your stay. Since you plan to only visit more than one park on one day of your visit, the only way around this is to purchase two single-day tickets as you outlined in your question. One ticket will be a standard theme park ticket and the other will be a Park Hopper ticket. You'll be able to link each of these tickets to your
My Disney Experience account using the unique Ticket ID code that was emailed to you upon purchase. If you were planning to purchase your tickets as part of a vacation package including your
Disney Resorts Hotel, the only way to do so is to purchase multi-day tickets with the Park Hopper Option for each day of your park tickets.
Jessi, now that we have figured that out, let's discuss some fun things going on at both the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. The Festival of Fantasy Parade has returned to the Magic Kingdom and is taking place each day. My family fell in love with this parade the very first time we saw it and cannot wait to see it again. The music is upbeat and the character sightings are plentiful!
EPCOT is currently featuring the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival and is one of the best times to visit this park. The food and drinks are located at various outdoor kitchens that are set up all around the park. It's the best place to grab a few snacks and find a park bench to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
I hope you have the best time during your upcoming stay, Jessi! It sounds like you have a busy couple of days planned for your adventure!
See ya real soon!
