How many days should I plan for at Animal Kingdom? I want to try to limit it to one if possible but could add another day. Children are 1, 5, 7 yrs old.

Your family should be fine with one day of touring at the Animal Kingdom.

This park is easier to navigate in one day due to the lack of evening entertainment as well as the more limited amount of attractions (rides and shows) compared to the other 3 theme parks at WDW.

My son doesn't go on the Dinosaur ride (yet) so I usually take him to the Boneyard to play while my husband goes on the ride.  I find multi-tasking in this park to be lots of fun. I may go see It's A Bug Life while my husband watches our son dig for dinosaur bones. We all enjoy the Kilimanjaro Safari adventure together.

While we generally do not tour sun up to sun down, we always visit the Animal Kingdom for one morning and one afternoon/early evening (so we can see the parade) and never have trouble getting to the attractions that we all enjoy.

This park is a Must See as the attention to detail is breath-taking. Take the paths less traveled and you are sure to find animal exhibits and hidden seating areas.
