With 5 or 6 days at the parks with kids 3, 5, and 6 what would you suggest. My kids aren't huge zoo people so wasn't sure if Animal Kingdom would be worth it. They LOVE Magic Kingdom & i thought w/ 3 days we would get to see more. Last time we went 2 d

Hi Abby!  I have a 6 year old daughter and she absolutely loves all of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks.

There is so much more to Animal Kingdom than just walking around looking for animals.  It is not like a zoo at all.  The only time we really see a lot of animals is when we ride the Kilimanjaro Safaris.  My daughter really loves this park.

The Tree of Life is stunning.  You really should see it at least once.  My daughter loves exploring around the tree looking for animals carved into the trunk.  Under the tree is a fun show, It's Tough To Be A Bug.

Our favorite shows also happen to be at Animal Kingdom.  Flights of Wonder, a show about birds, is really funny and has kept my daughter entertained since she was tiny.  You also get to see a bald eagle, which is so incredible.  It is a must do!  Finding Nemo - The Musical is also found in Animal Kingdom.  This is my favorite show at Walt Disney World.  It is  a 40 minute performance in an air conditioned building that will capture hearts of people all ages!

DinoLand U.S.A. is a fun spot for children in Animal Kingdom.  They can dig for fossils in The Boneyard, play carnival games and take a whirl on the Triceratop Spin.

Animal Kingdom also has character meet and greets, great shopping and wonderful places to eat.  Your children can even become Wilderness Explorers like Russell from the movie Up.  Take the official pledge, complete challenges and collect badges!  The badges are free and fun for the whole family.

We always really enjoy Animal Kingdom and never really feel like we are at a traditional zoo.  You should give it a try, I think you will be surprised by how much fun everyone will have.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
