After how many days at the park should we take a "Hotel Day" to relax? It's Me, my sister, my niece (20) and my 2 girls 8 & 5. Have 7 day 1 park per day tickets, doing 4 Character meals! :) Thank you!!!

    Hi Glorian!!!

Thank you so much for your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!!

My family very seldom takes a "Hotel Day" to just relax at the hotel.  We do, however, take mid-day breaks and come back to the resort to rest, relax, nap, and even swim shortly after lunch. This helps us to be able to take a breather during the day and then finish up the evening in the theme parks.

If you were looking for a day to chill and relax I would recommend doing so either in the middle of your trip or the day after a late night where you took advantage of Extra Magic Hours.  This should help you from feeling tired during your trip.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!!

    Have a magical day!
