Disneyland Resort Halloween

    On days of the Oggie Boggie Bash, are those without tickets typically able to hop to Disneyland before the Bash starts or do crowding issues sometimes prevent entry to Disneyland? If so is it better if you hop as soon as it’s available?

    Halloween time at the Disneyland Resort is one of my favorite things! I’m so excited to hEAR you will be experiencing it too!

    As you are aware, the legalese associated with the purchase of a Disneyland Resort theme park ticket does indicate that park admission is not guaranteed. Yes, there are rare circumstances when a theme park may reduce or suspend entrance by Guests due to capacity limits being met. That said, I have only ever personally experienced such a case one time in all of my years of visiting the Disneyland Resort. And I have never witnessed or heard about it happening during times when a special event such as Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party has been taking place in the other theme park. Although I can’t guarantee it, I’m pretty confident you won’t need to worry about rushing over to Disneyland Park once the after-hours event begins at Disney California Adventure Park.

    What are you most excited about at Halloween time, Lori? I’m looking forward to the fun attraction overlays, including Haunted Mansion Holiday and Guardians of the Galaxy - Monsters After Dark. And I hope to get a Disney PhotoPass photo in front of the Headless Horseman statue.
