    Going 1/14-18 for 3 1/2 days - mom & 9 girl  trying to make best of time.  Which is be better,  Polynesian or Bay Tower, in terms of keeping transportation times down and eateries.  Won't have hopper pass (scared of bus lines)

    Hi Michele - in my opinion, you can't beat the Polynesian for convenient transportation.  My family was there in May, and we stayed in the Tahiti building, which is very close to the Ticket and Transportation Center.  By walking to the TTC, we were able to take the monorail direct to Epcot and the Magic Kingdom, and take a bus to Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.  In my experience, the bus wait times at the TTC were short, and the buses were not crowded.
