Aloha, Jenny Lee!
Welcome to planDisney. Mahalo nui (thank you very much) for stopping by with your planDisney question. It looks like your upcoming tropical vacation with Disney magic on top is just on the horizon. Our family is visiting
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa for the third time in August, and like you, I can hardly wait for all of those delicious Hawaiian meals,
Character Breakfasts with Auntie and friends, and of course, Mickey-shaped shave ices while overlooking the line where the sky meets the sea.
I'm sorry to hear you had trouble making your online dining reservations at 30 days out. One thing to note, Jenny Lee, is that at
Aulani, Advance Dining Reservations open up online at
midnight Hawaii time. That local time is in the Hawaii-Aleutian Time Zone and it does not observe Daylight Savings Time.
From the applicable dates in November to the applicable dates in March, Hawaii is two hours behind the West Coast of the Mainland United States and five hours behind the East Coast of the Mainland United States until we have Daylight Savings. Then, during Standard Time, Hawaii is three hours behind the West Coast and six hours behind the East Coast. If you are unable to make online reservations for any reason, you can always call to make a reservation as well. You can do that 30 days out also and the
Resort Guest Services opens at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time.
I hope you have been able to make a delicious dining reservation for your upcoming stay at Aulani. If I can help you with any additional Aulani questions,
stop back and see me here. As your Disney vacation planning 'ohana, you are family and that means nobody gets left behind.
A hui hou (until we meet again),
Keri
