I have too many days of memory maker purchased. I've bought 5 days of photos for only 3 park days. What can I do?

    Hello there, Sara!

Welcome to planDisney! As the resident shutterbug for my family and friends, I love ensuring all our most magical moments are captured, whether we're having a casual day at home or adventuring through Walt Disney World Resort. Memory Maker is the perfect way to ensure I get to "say cheese" right along with the rest of my group during our vacation.

It sounds like you've already made an advanced Memory Maker purchase for your upcoming March trip. This was a great decision, as you took advantage of the discounted pre-arrival price!  Though there is an option to purchase a single day of Memory Maker photos, you've already gotten the best value for your three park days. You've also given yourself a head start on capturing the magic!

You mentioned that you purchased 5 days of photos for only 3 park days, but the best part of Memory Maker is that it's valid for 30 days of memories from the date of activation. So even if you'll only be spending three days in the parks, you can still take advantage of PhotoPass opportunities on your arrival and departure days.

Did you know there is a Disney PhotoPass Studio located in the Marketplace area of Disney's Springs? There, you can enjoy a portrait session with an assortment of backdrops, some magical enhancements, and props. Our kids had a ball posing there a few years ago, and the photos were easily linked to our My Disney Experience App with no additional sitting fee. You may even find some PhotoPass opportunities right at your resort. Stop by the front desk when you arrive and ask the Cast Members if some friends might be making a visit.

While you're enjoying your time in the parks, be sure to stop for an iconic photo in front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park. I have a hunch your PhotoPass photographer will even add a few Magic Shot surprises. My family likes to stop for a group photo at each park icon, but we always keep our eyes peeled for photo spots in some quieter areas of the parks. It seems there is always magic to capture around every corner, but you'll be able to find a full list of PhotoPass locations using the map icon in your My Disney Experience app.

If you'll be purchasing Genie+ during your visit, you'll also have access to Disney PhotoPass lenses. Special lenses will become available as you visit different areas of the parks, but you'll also be able to enjoy a variety of effects throughout Walt Disney World Resort, and from home up to 45 days after your last Genie+ purchase.

Once you've arrived home from your trip be sure to download all your magical memories as PhotoPass photos and videos will expire 45 days after they are taken.

I hope this helps! Stop back and ask me any other planning questions you might have before your visit. I'd be happy to help!

    Capture the magic,
    Amy
