Hello, Judith, and welcome to planDisney! Like you, I'm eagerly waiting for news to be announced regarding spooky season at Walt Disney World. Thanks for bringing your question to us. Allow me to see what details I can get to materialize for us.
Dates for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party haven't been announced yet for 2026. I took a look into my crystal ball, aka
this blog post from the
Disney Parks Blog, and found that last year details were released on May 12. I don't know if the timing will be the same this year or not, but that at least gives you an idea of when to start looking. I can share that last year, parties were held on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays in August and September, with the addition of one Thursday date in late September, and Thursdays, Fridays, most Sundays, most Tuesdays and one Monday in October. On party nights, Magic Kingdom closed for day Guests at 6:00 PM.
I hope you'll consider attending the event this year. It's my favorite extra ticketed event of the year. As an adult, reliving the fun childhood memory of trick-or-treating just can't be beat, and to be able to do it at Walt Disney World is even better! I also really love Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade and Disney's Not So Spooky Spectacular fireworks, both of which are only performed during the party.
Judith, I hope this has been helpful to you. If you have any other planning questions, please hurry back. There's always room for one more.
Let your dreams guide you!
Melanie
