6 days left any last minute tips first time visit with 12yr grl 7yrb and bdays. Packing tips? Anything I should keep in mind? Is it better to use credit or cash have delx din park hopper tickest staying at all star movie 7 days have some dining reservation

    Hi Alicia!

How exciting that your family's first Walt Disney World vacation is only a few short days away!

Be sure to request a "1st Visit" celebration button for each member of your travel party when checking in at All Star Movies! That way, everyone will know about this momentous occasion!

This time of year, I would recommend packing a light sweater and jeans for the evening hours, as the weather can be a little chilly after sunset. Comfortable shoes are also very important and now is not the time to "break in" any new sneakers! Lastly, don't forget bathing suits and suntan lotion as the daytime highs, as well as the heated resort pools, should present some good swimming opportunities.

One of the best parts about staying onsite at a Disney Resort is the amazing flexibility that comes with your Key to the World card! This versatile card is more than your room key, it's also your park tickets and dining plan credits! You are welcome to link your credit card to your Key to the World card to enable charging privileges for your family members so that everyone can make purchases without the need to carry credit cards or cash. Just be sure to discuss the power that this card holds with your children in advance and perhaps set a prior spending limit.

Thanks for taking the time to visit us at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and feel free to send more questions our way in the days leading up to your trip! May your FIRST Disney vacation be practically perfect in every way!
