Only 9 days left! We are attending MVMCP on 11/15, but Weather.com is calling for a 40% chance of t-storms. How will we know if the parade and fireworks are cancelled? Am terrified of storms, so don't want to be out in them! This panel is the BEST!

    Hooray Jeanie!

Congratulations on your single digit countdown! Your trip will be here before you know it and I am thrilled to hear you will be enjoying one of my favorite Special Events - Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

If I have learned one thing about taking Walt Disney World Resort vacations, it's to expect rain from time to time. I have also learned that the weather is a bit unpredictable and it may rain one moment and be sunny and bright the next. In my experience, it takes quite a bit for them to cancel fireworks. I remember watching Wishes in a total downpour one night just because it was the last evening of our vacation. With the parades, they are a little more apt to postpone or cancel to make sure the Cast Members and Disney Characters stay safe. It sounds like there are scattered storms possible, so it wouldn't be unlikely for them to delay the parade 30 minutes or so to work around the weather. In either case, they will make announcements to let you know if the events have been postponed or cancelled. My advice is to continue watching the forecast and if thunderstorms remain a variable for that day, plan around it as best you can. There are several covered locations you can plan to watch from, although you will need to get to them early to save your spot.

If there is anything else I may assist you with in the next few days, please let me know. Thank you so much for visiting us and have a wonderful vacation.

    Magical Wishes,
