72 days to go-3rd visit! Have always avoided EMH at the parks due to higher crowds at those parks during regular hours (so I've read). No park hopper passes. Is it the right decision to avoid those parks EMH days, or should we take advantage of EMH?

    Hi Shelley!

    This is a great question!

If I have done the math right, you are headed to Walt Disney World in mid-December.  The crowds are typically between low and medium then.  Parks have Morning Extra Magic Hours and Evening Extra Magic Hours.  The park offering Morning Extra Magic Hour is typically more crowded than it would be for that time of year if it wasn't offering the extra hour.  Thus the conventional wisdom is to skip that park; that's also slightly true for a park offering Evening Extra Magic Hours.

However, you are going during a less crowded time of the year.  I recommend skipping the park offering Morning Extra Magic Hour if you can, but if visiting that park best suits your schedule and plans then I wouldn't worry about it!  It would be a lot worse if you were visiting during the end of year holidays, for example!

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
