11 more days to go! YAY! Mom, Dad, & 7 yr old princess staying at POFQ in a Garden View room. What area of the resort is the "best" to stay in? Can we put in a special request? Online check-in or wait until we arrive? So EXCITED! Thank

Hi there Kenda! How exciting that your visit to Walt Disney World is nearing a single digit countdown!

I would highly recommend online check-in as a great way to specify room requests like being closer to the resort's transportation options or having a guest room on the ground floor. However, the best benefit to checking in prior to arriving at your Disney resort hotel is the ability to get your Key to the World Card and other documents handled quickly so that you're on the way to enjoying your vacation faster!

A great unofficial website for choosing your ideal room location at Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter can be found at: www.portorleans.org. Simply select the section titled "Rooms and Prices" for more details and recommendations based on past traveler reviews. Just please keep in mind that these requests are not able to be guaranteed unless there is a special medical requirement involved.

Thanks so much for visiting us here at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel! Wishing you a pixie-dusted trip down on the bayou!
