Hello! 214 days to go before we visit Disney! I was curious if the silhouette artists could do a portrait from a picture? Would LOVE to gift silhouette portraits to my sisters who will not be there. Is this possible? TY!

    Hi, Julieanna!

The artists at Walt Disney World do such beautiful work. I can't imagine having that artistic ability!

When my fellow panelist, Kay, renewed her vows a few years ago, as a gift I had one the caricature artists in Epcot create a wonderful picture of her and her husband. I brought several pictures for the artist to work from. It was no problem not to have the actual subjects "live" and the final product was amazing!  They even included personal touches that I asked for like adding Kay's favorite flowers, and their home football team's name on their shirts. Way too cute!

A silhouette might be a bit more difficult, so you will have to ask the silhouette artists if they can do this for you. I would bring as many profile photos as possible so they can try to capture your sisters' images. Make sure these are prints of photos, not just on your phone. You will want to leave the photos for the artist to work from.  If one artist says no, try another artist on a different day who might have more experience in doing silhouettes from photos.

I hope you are able to create this magical souvenir for your sisters.  Good luck!
