    7 more days to go before our 1st trip 2 Disney! Hope u all can help w/these ?'s.Hubby just told me he really wants to fish but excursions r not in our budget. Where can he fish?Can he use his own pole?Can he rent a canoe and fish from it? Staying At PORS.

    Hi Shannon!

    This is a great question.  Besides going out on a fishing excursion on the water ways of Walt Disney World, which can be relatively expensive, your husband could just go cane pole fishing at Port Orleans Riverside.  It is very inexpensive and fun.  My two boys, ages 13 and 8, love going cane pole fishing on every trip to Port Orleans Riverside or Fort Wilderness.  Just know that it is catch and release!  The best time to go is early in the morning so keep that in mind when you develop your plans!
