    Hi. 14 days 2 go! Traveling w/ DH, 3 kids age 12,5,2, and 2 grndparents. Staying at AKL 6/13-6/17. Also have DDP. How much $ should we plan to bring? Does Disney accept traveler's checks? Thanks!

    I feel you bubbling over with excitement as your vacation draws near! Here are some things to consider when deciding how much money to bring. You have taken advantage of the Disney Dining Plan but you will still be responsible for tipping your wait staff at the restaurants in which you dine. It is also customary to tip "mousekeeping" at your hotels. You will undoubtedly need to purchase souvenirs as you travel throughout the resort. You may also want to purchase the refillable mugs for beverages, and don't forget money for incidentals that just might come up. Whew!  With all of that said you should do well with about $300-$500 depending on how extravagant you are. And yes, Walt Disney World will accept your travelers checks! Have a magical vacation from one Buckeye to another.
