5 days to go! Any last minute tips? Dining, FP+, M Maker, BBB, & Frozen pkg booked. Out of all my trips to Disney, this is my most stressful. I've actually managed to keep it a secret from my daughter. Just want to make sure I'm not forgetting anything

    Hi Cartier,

Your magical vacation is about to begin! You have done the work, you have made the plans and the best is yet to come. I understand how much planning ahead can be stressful at times, but in my opinion the payoff truly is worth it!

Sometimes it takes me a day or so to come down to earth once vacation starts because it's hard to transition from planning mode to fun mode. But it can be done! Remember that there is no such thing as vacation perfection. You have set yourself up for a great time and now you can go with the flow.

My biggest tip is to really try to be present in each moment. You have your schedule and a plan, but don't forget to look around and take many, many deep breaths. This vacation is for you as much as your family, so make sure to take time for yourself too. Maybe that means a nice cocktail at your Resort hotel on the first night or a yummy treat in Magic Kingdom Park.

Finally, don't forget to clear any current photos from your phone or camera and pack the chargers for your devices! A little bit practical, but I am always more at ease with a full battery and lots of space on my phone.

Good luck with your surprise and I hope you enjoy your wonderful vacation together. Please say hi to Mickey for me!
