Hi Moms 113 Days to go! We are first timers and staying at FW Cabins in September. On the map it looks like a path to WL. How far is that to walk and then how much further to Poly? Would rather walk for half an hour than sit on transport sometimes. Tha

    Hello, Darenne,

I love reading another Disney guest is keeping track of how many days until Walt Disney World as we do it, too!  Every day as we get a little closer I find that the smile on my face gets a little bigger!

The jogging trail that connects Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort to Disney's Wilderness Lodge is right around 3/4 of a mile.  On average, it is about a 15 minute walk.  Please keep in mind that this is not taking into account the location of your cabin.

I do have to share with you that there is not a walking path from Disney's Wilderness Lodge to Disney's Polynesian Village. However, there is a boat that runs between Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and Disney's Contemporary Resort.  Once you arrive at Disney's Contemporary Resort, you can walk to the Magic Kingdom. The walk is about 8-10 minutes long.
