Hi Moms! 83 days to go and can't wait! I've made plans to visit all the parks and have dinner reservs accordingly for 5 of the days. I have Thurs and Fri left and need advice as to what to visit and where to eat for dinner. Any suggestions?

It's tough to give you itinerary advice without knowing what you've already got planned, Antonia.  Operating under the assumption that you are looking for restaurant suggestions outside of the theme parks, I'm happy to offer some recommendations.

-Raglan Road.  My husband recently was in Orlando on business and would you believe he had the nerve to visit a Disney restaurant without me?!  I couldn't believe it either.  Nevertheless, he reported not only great food, but also a fun, Irish-immersion experience.  He is angling for a return trip with the family during our upcoming trip.

-'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort.  This is a long-time family favorite.  Your "cousins" (servers) stop by your table with skewers of meat cooked over an open flame in the center of the restaurant.  Sides are served up family-style.  Kids will enjoy the coconut races and leis.

-If you're looking for a character meal to round out your itinerary, consider dining with Chef Mickey.  Dinner is a buffet.  Mickey and his pals stop by your table to sign autographs and pose for photos.   It's a lively experience and a fun time is sure to be had by all!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
