It's tough to give you itinerary advice without knowing what you've already got planned, Antonia. Operating under the assumption that you are looking for restaurant suggestions outside of the theme parks, I'm happy to offer some recommendations.
-
Raglan Road. My husband recently was in Orlando on business and would you believe he had the nerve to visit a Disney restaurant without me?! I couldn't believe it either. Nevertheless, he reported not only great food, but also a fun, Irish-immersion experience. He is angling for a return trip with the family during our upcoming trip.
-'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort. This is a long-time family favorite. Your "cousins" (servers) stop by your table with skewers of meat cooked over an open flame in the center of the restaurant. Sides are served up family-style. Kids will enjoy the coconut races and leis.
-If you're looking for a character meal to round out your itinerary, consider dining with
Chef Mickey. Dinner is a buffet. Mickey and his pals stop by your table to sign autographs and pose for photos. It's a lively experience and a fun time is sure to be had by all!
