    38 Days to go!!! What is the best way to get from MK to HS for a 7:45pm dinner at Sci Fi and then back to MK? We are traveling with DD5 and DD21months:)

    Hooray!
    From the Magic Kingdom to Disney's Hollywood Studios,  I would walk over to the Contemporary Resort. Just follow the marked path. It'll go past the Magic Kingdom bus depot. Then, take a bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

    In reverse order, take a bus from Disney's Hollywood Studios to the Contemporary Resort. Walk back over to the Magic Kingdom.

    For convenience, your best option is a taxi.

    Allow 90 minutes from the Magic Kingdom exit to your restaurant at Disney's Hollywood Studios. You'll need time to walk to the Contemporary, wait for the bus, 20 minutes travel time, then the walk into the park.

    Personally, I would recommend dining in the park (or at a nearby hotel) that you are touring as to not waste precious vacation time traveling between parks. If you are set on the Sci-Fi Dine-In for dinner, perhaps after an afternoon break at your hotel, you could go from your hotel to the Studios. See a show, then have dinner before departing to the Magic Kingdom.
