4 days! Getting all my ducks in a row and started thinking about tipping. Do you normally tip your Mousekeepers? If so, how much? Do we leave the tip in our room every morning or the last day of our stay? Staying at All Star Music, family suite. Thx!

    Hi Jeff!

Are you too excited to sleep yet? Are you packed yet? Ha!

Tipping the Mousekeepers is optional - some Guest do while others do not.  Personally, I am a fan of tipping as a way of showing my appreciation to them. After a fun-filled day in the parks, its really nice to come back to a clean room with fresh towels and a bed ready for pixie dusted dreams.

The amount is up to you. When there are four of us staying in a standard room, I usually tip $5 per day.  If there are more of us staying in a suite, I tip more based up the number of us and the type of suite we're staying in. I also factor in how big of a mess I think we'll make.  We also try to be neat and very considerate but sometimes running in and out of the room with kids can be a little hectic.

Some Guests wait until the last day to tip. I used to do that but then someone mentioned that we may not have the same Mousekeepers each day or may have the same ones every day except the last day of our visit.  Now I leave a tip each day so that I can make sure each Mousekeeper is fairly tipped.  We usually plan ahead and make envelopes and put our tips in for each day before our trips.  My boys like to decorate them by drawing on them or putting stickers on them.  We label them "Mousekeeping" and leave one out each day as we head out for the parks. Cast Members do such a great job of making our trips magical that I like sprinkling a little pixie dust for them as well.

Please feel free to visit again with any other questions. We'll be hEAR for you up until you embark on your pixie dusted trail!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
