Leslie from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Can you get 3 days of free Dining Plan if you are staying longer than 3 days? Would you need 2 reservations? One for the free 3 days and another for the rest of your stay? Or can you get 3 free days on a reservation for 8 days and pay for the other 5?

    Hiya Leslie!

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with this great question. I was just as excited to learn about the Free Dining Plan offer as I'm sure you were. Having all of your meals accounted for before arriving onsite helps take away some of the budgeting you have to do while you are there. There are a few conditions that your trip needs to meet in order to take advantage of this deal. Let's discuss what the criteria are.

The Free Dining Plan offer requires a minimum of a three-night stay. If you want to extend your trip to eight days, then you will receive free dining for every night of your stay. If your idea is to book a longer trip, then this offer will work out great for your plan. To answer your question, you will not have to book multiple reservations or have to pay anything more for the additional nights of your trip. When you visit the Walt Disney World webpage, use the "Build Your Vacation" toolbar located at the top of your screen. Once you enter the number of Guests in your party and the date range, you will then choose the Disney Resorts hotel you want to stay at. Once you get to your room selection, there will be an option at the top of the screen that prompts you to choose one of the current offers listed. Make sure to select "Savor A Delicious Deal This Summer" to receive accurate pricing and required selections for this deal.

As I mentioned, there are a few requirements you need to meet to qualify for this offer. There are two specific date ranges that you can travel between. These are May 27th - June 26th and July 7th - August 6th. You'll also need to add the Park Hopper Option to your ticket package. If you choose a Disney Deluxe Resort Hotel or Disney Deluxe Villa Resort Hotel, you will receive the Disney Dining Plan. If you decide on a Disney Moderate Resort Hotel or Disney Value Resort Hotel, then you'll get the Disney Quick Service Dining Plan.

Leslie, I know this is a lot of information, but I hope it clears up any questions you had before visiting planDisney today. I noticed that your anticipated arrival date is in November. Please note that the Free Dining Plan offer is not currently available during that time frame. There may be additional offers that are released in the future. I suggest following along with the Disney Parks Blog for any news and announcements.

If you're able to accommodate the date range on the current offer, the Dining Plan is an amazing perk. You will practically have all of your meals accounted for prior to arriving onsite and have the chance to dine at many different locations during your stay.

    Happy planning!
    Greg
