T-60 days! Our first day we drop bags at BLT & head to DTD for DD3 & DD7 res. at BBB-12p. We are eating at CRT at 4. I planned on doing the Crown Package. But since we won't be "checked-in"- should I bring dresses? buy them at WOD? upgrade pa

You really can go either way. For my trip (40 days and counting!), we are packing our dresses in a carry on, as we will land, check in at our Disney resort, and then go straight to the parks. We love letting Disney's Magical Express move our bags for us, but we are not going to wait in the resort for what could be up to 3 hours for them to arrive, so we are packing the dresses and then taking them with us into the parks.

It sounds as if your princesses already have gowns, yes? Well why buy new ones if the old ones are fine? I would pack them in your bags and bring them with you. Think about if you want to spend another $100+ on princess dresses to have at home, when you already have some. Our answer is no, knowing that we can easily bring the ones we already have along with us, and that also means less stuff to bring home at the end.

A hidden plus to this frugal approach is that maybe you now have more spare change to buy other things. I find that we lose all the 'extras' like gloves, purses, tiaras, at home. Now you would have a few extra bucks to thrill your kids by 'plussing' the vacation. With this extra money you could let them buy one accessory before going into their Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique appointment. For our kids that is a real treat!

I hope this addresses your question? Write me back if you have more follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
