We're 130+ days out and finding it hard to get reservations for character dining. Specifically, we're hoping for Chef Mickey's and Cinderella's Royal Table. Both are full. What are the chances of getting in one with a cancellation? Keep checking daily?

    Hello, Tracy!

Wow! All booked up at 130 days before check-in for Chef Mickey's? That is impressive!

I know that Cinderella's Royal Table books up at 180 days prior to check-in, so I would surely suggest that you call frequently for cancellations. In addition, have you considered a late breakfast / late lunch / late dinner for these locations?  I know that some Guests prefer specific times for either of these two locations; I also have found that some days are more popular than others. For example, you might find Chef Mickey's has an opening for a very late lunch on a weekday which is not near a holiday or is not in peak season.  Because of this, I suggest that you contact Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE and ask a Cast Member for recommendations if your first choices are not available. Sometimes, moving a reservation request to a different day of the week or to a different meal, opens up possibilities I hadn't previously considered.

And remember; when all else fails, call frequently to check on cancellations.

Best of luck in securing these reservations! Send additional questions as you think of them! I'd love to help!
