How many days out is the final payment due for a resort reservation

Hi Kelly! Welcome back to planDisney! We’re so happy to see you again!

Three chEARS to you for booking another fabulous Walt Disney World Resort vacation. If you ask me, there has never been a better time to visit! From Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration to new attractions like Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, there is something exciting to explore at every turn. So, I'm so happy to hear you will have a trip on your calendar to look forward to! I bet you are growing more and more excited each day.

Now, let’s talk about payments! The final payment for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is due 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival. If you’re booking a last-minute trip and will be arriving in less than 30 days, the full payment is required at the time of booking.

The process is super simple when you’re ready to make your final payment! All you need to do is head over to the Walt Disney World website and log into your My Disney Experience account. Then, hover over the My Disney Experience logo in the upper right-hand corner, and select "My Plans" from the drop-down menu. Then, scroll down to "Resort Hotel," and you will see the "Make a Payment" option. You can follow the prompts to make your payment from there, and you are all set.

Now, if you do not see the "Make a Payment" link for whatever reason, I'd recommend giving the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations team a call at (407) 939-1936, and they will be happy to take care of this for you.

While you’re here, Kelly, I just want to quickly remind you to secure your Theme Park Reservations ahead of your trip. You will need to make a reservation for the first park you plan to visit each day. Then, if you have added the Park Hopper Option to your ticket, you can hop over to another park after 2 p.m. each afternoon. Some dates get booked up, so I recommend securing your Theme Park Reservations as early as possible to ensure you can enjoy all the parks you were hoping to visit.

It really is such a special time to be visiting Walt Disney World, and you truly can feel the magic in the air from the moment you arrive. So, make sure to take a moment to look around and take it all in. These are memories that will last a lifetime!

    Have a magical day!
