Is there a way to see which days DL and DCA will close early for sweetheart nights in February 2023? We are there during valentines week and don’t want to lose out on full park hours when reserving our park days. Thanks!

    Hiya, Krista!

    Welcome to planDisney!

Oh boy! You'll be visiting The Happiest Place on Earth during the love-liest time of yEAR! Disneyland After Dark events have not been announced for the 2023 season, but I have a few top tips for you so you can start planning your dream Disneyland days now:

~Last yEAR the themes and dates for the various Disneyland After Dark "Nites" were announced by the Disney Parks Blog in EARly December, so I expect that we'll know more in about a month. You can either check in with the Blog every now and then, or you can follow their official social media accounts so you'll never miss an update or the newest Disney Parks news.

~Sometimes the themes are switched up a bit. (My Disneyland Panel bestie Kristin C. and I went to 90's Nite in 2019 and it was so cool, dude!) While I can't guarantee that Sweethearts Nite will come back, if it does, based on historical data, just Disneyland Park will be affected, and only on a handful of nights.

~Usually 'Special Event Ticket' options are held on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. However, the exception to this rule is if the event is themed to a holiday or special Disney day, like how Halloween fell on a Monday this yEAR or if May 4th were on a Wednesday, etc.

If this were me, I'd go ahead and book my Park Pass Reservations assuming that Sweethearts Nite is happening again next yEAR, and then change my plans around as soon as I hEAR otherwise. While Park Pass Reservations are currently open for February, we've noticed that dates start to book up solid in the days and weeks before the Disney day in question, so you should have plenty of time to make changes if need be.

I'm so sorry that this wasn't exactly the answer you were sEARching for, Krista, but I hope that this helped to better plan your upcoming Disney days!
