I have 4 days in Disney World and wanted to reserve at least one sit-down restaurant meal per park. We have a family with 3 kids and don't need any restaurant too formal but wanted to try a variety of foods. Which restaurants do you recommend?

Welcome to planDisney, Christopher! Planning one table service Disney Dining experience per park is a great idea! I’m happy to offer some of my top picks for dining in the four Disney Parks! All of these selections also get the two thumbs up approval from my wife and three sons!

Let’s start at Magic Kingdom Park where my favorite choice for dining pleasure is…Be Our Guest Restaurant! I like to begin my meal with the potato-leek soup, followed by the filet mignon for my main course. Of course, no visit to the castle where Lumiere sang ‘Be Our Guest’ is complete without the ‘grey stuff’ dessert! The master of the castle, Beast himself, has been known to make some occasional appearances throughout the dining experience!

As we move over to EPCOT, let’s stop in at Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria! This is a family favorite for us! It is the one restaurant that we always agree to visit during every vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort! Located in World Showcase (Italy, to be more exact). Our favorites are the calamari, chicken parmesan, and the pizza…all the pizza!

We are going to keep with the Italian theme as we park hop over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Here we enjoy Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano! From apps to dessert, we could eat just about everything on this delicious Disney Dining menu! The fried fresh mozzarella, Margherita flatbread, pasta with shrimp, spaghetti and meatballs, and cheesecake are our top selections!

And, finally, as we trek on over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, we always find our way to Yak and Yeti Restaurant! Here we find our most diverse menu! There is something for everyone in the family at this restaurant. I’m a fan of the pork egg rolls, any dish from the wok, and the teriyaki chicken!

Christopher, you can find every menu for every Disney Dining location on the Walt Disney World Resort website! Just enter the name of a restaurant and click “View Menu.” Enjoy your delicious vacation!

    Happy Planning!
